The adenovirus antigen rapid detection kit is a lateral flow chromatography immunoassay for the qualitative detection of novel coronavirus in human swabs (oropharynx swabs, nasopharyngeal swabs, and anterior nasal swabs). It is suitable for auxiliary equipment to diagnose adenovirus infection. Adenoviruses most often cause respiratory diseases, however, depending on the serotype of infection, they may also cause various other diseases, such as gastrointestinal diseases, which are conjunctivitis, cystitis, and rash diseases. Symptoms of respiratory diseases caused by the following causes adenovirus infection ranges from the common cold syndrome to pneumonia, wheeze, and bronchitis. Patients with compromised immune systems are particularly vulnerable to severe complications of adenovirus infection through direct contact, fecal oral transmission, and occasionally water transmission. Some types are able to establish a persistent asymptomatic infection in the tonsils, adenoids, and intestines infected hosts and shedding may last for months or years.
Adenovirus antigen rapid detection kit is a lateral flow chromatography immunoassay. The test box includes:
1) Burgundy conjugated pad with colloidal gold (monoclonal mouse anti adenovirus) - conjugated recombinant antigen antibody conjugate) and rabbit IgG gold conjugate.
2) The nitrocellulose membrane band includes a test band (t-band) and a control band (C-band).
